BEGINNER LEVEL IT TRAINING COURSES
In these hands-on class, trainees will:
• Develop their skills to effectively use personal computers; be able to produce text through the enhancement of their keyboard and mouse usage skill.
• Be able to use an Internet Browser; set up and maintain an email account; navigate basic functions in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; use established databases and search engines to find information on the Internet including job searching resources.
• Be able to copy, save, and print documents, in addition, to uploading their resumes. Students will also be equipped to manage Internet safety.
INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER OPERATION
Students will learn the basic features of word processing, spreadsheets, and database software by doing hands-on computer exercises.
WORD PROCESSING - BEGINNING
Students will learn how to create, format, save, and print documents using basic through advanced features of Microsoft Word for Windows.
Students will be introduced to EXCEL, ACCESS and POWERPOINT. These classes are designed to teach students the beginning through advanced features.
Students will learn basic concepts of webpage design using Adobe Dreamweaver software.
Classes meet TBD, Monday - Thursday.
Typing tests are offered Monday thru Thursday from TBD.
